Research from CEST, VISTEC is featured as a back Cover in Journal of Materials Chemistry A (RSC).
By using ~2 nm atomic layer deposition (ALD) Al₂O₃ on thick Ni-rich NMC811 cathodes, we suppress microcracking, oxygen release, transition-metal dissolution, and electrolyte decomposition—toward safer, longer-lasting Li-ion batteries.
